
1 Random park shoving. A woman said she was walking her dog in Belleview Park,5001 S. Inca Drive, Englewood, at 6 p.m. April 14 when a man who she said “smelled like urine” and may have been homeless walked by while her dog was playing near a bench. She asked him if he needed anything. He said, “No.” Then he ran up behind her and shoved her to the ground. She struck her head on the bench on the way down.
2 Tire dump, alleged bumper bump. A woman called police on March 29 after she said she saw two people illegally throwing away tires in the Dumpster at her apartment complex in the 700 block of West Belleview Avenue, Littleton. She said she tried to stop the car and the driver “bumped” her before peeling out. Police located the driver and cited her for illegal dumping.
3 Man saws logs as thieves ransack house. A man visited his father’s home in the 4700 block of South Washington Street, Englewood, on March 28 and found that someone broke in while his dad was sleeping and took a TV, silverware, jewelry and the titles to two vehicles — at least $6,000 worth of goods.
4 Warmed up for a thief. A woman sent her daughter to start her car before 7 a.m. March 28. The car then vanished from in front of the home in the 5500 block of South Datura Street, Littleton, before the two could leave.
5 Garage broken into, car rifled through. A woman living in the 2900 block of South Lincoln Street, Englewood, said someone entered her garage overnight April 11 and went through the glove box of her Subaru Forester.
