Adams County authorities have identified the 21-year-old man Westminster police say was last week.
Damon Blair died at the scene of the Wednesday night encounter on the 7300 block of Tennyson Street.
Westminster police say officers killed Blair after he shot at them.
Blair was linked to a stolen vehicle that officers were investigating, according to authorities. One officer had minor injuries after the encounter.
The shooting is being reviewed by the 17th Judicial District Critical Incident Investigations Team.
