1 One for now, one for later. A security guard for the Bottle Barn Liquor Store, 1720 S. Buckley Road, saw a man hide a bottle of Kentucky Deluxe Bourbon in his pants, and then try to buy another bottle at the register April 22. He was ticketed.

2 Paranoid suspicions. Police were called to the 12800 block of East Kansas Place on April 20 because a man who was taking several medications claimed that his landlord broke his heating dial and was trying to poison him for owning a cat. There was no evidence.

3 Looted house. Construction workers building a home in the 19300 block of East Radcliff Place called police April 16 because someone stole a water heater, granite counter tops, a roll of carpet and a bathroom sink from the site.

4 Broken light. A woman watched a group of boys throw rocks at a light fixture near her home in the 2100 block of South Scranton Way. She said they broke the light and then ran off April 22.

5 Missing money. After receiving treatment at a nearby hospital, a woman called police from the 14200 block of East Colfax Avenue claiming that someone stole $195 out of her purse while she was seeing a doctor.

6 Fake taxes. A woman who lives in the 3000 block of South Joplin Court called police April 18 because she said someone used her identity to file a tax return. There are no suspects.
