Metro Denver loves its pizza places, with new ones opening all the time. Places like are expanding.
Mark and Kristy Dym just opened their latest pizzeria, located in the Colorado Mills Mall, extending their reach to Lakewood.
is locally owned by this Colorado family, and was formerly known as Marco’s Coal-Fired Pizza.
Last year, their restaurant was named Independent Pizzeria of the Year by Pizza Today.
It’s the only pizza place in Colorado with certification from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana — which means their pizzas are made just as in Naples, with traditional processes and ingredients.
The menu includes pizzas (from $11 to $19) plus sandwiches, salads, and antipasti. There are also options for assemble-your-own pizza and gluten-free pizza.
