The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has identified the man whose body was found in a parked vehicle Saturday as 18-year-old Oscar Navarrete-Moreno of Colorado Springs.
The coroner’s office completed the autopsy Monday and determined Navarrete-Moreno died of a gunshot wound, Colorado Springs police announced in a news release.
The victim’s body was found in a vehicle on the 1600 block of South Tejon Street. Earlier reports from police had said the body .
Police said no suspects have been identified. Detectives continue to investigate Navarrete-Moreno’s death.
