Emergency bridge repair work Wednesday afternoon on C-470 at Broadway is expected to prompt major delays for rush hour commuters in the south Denver area.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says a C-470 lane in the westbound side of the highway is blocked.
While CDOT tweeted there was no estimated time of when the lane would be clear, the Colorado State Patrol says the work will last through rush hour.
“So expect major delays!” the State Patrol said in a tweet.
