The Broncos on Thursday signed sixth-round draft picks Andy Janovich and Will Parks.
Janovich, a fullback from Nebraska, was selected at No. 176 and is projected to receive a four-year deal worth about $2.5 million, according to Spotrac.
Parks, a safety from Arizona, was taken at No. 219 and signed a four-year contract worth approximately $2.44 million.
Wednesday, the team signed seventh-round pick, Riley Dixon, a punter from Syracuse, whose deal is worth an approximate $2.42 million.
Per the 2011 collective bargaining agreement, rookie contract values and bonuses are predetermined based on a player’s draft slot. Every contract is for four years, but first-round selections have a team option for a fifth year.
Bonus payment terms and offset language can be negotiated, however, which is why there often is a delay in players signing after they’re drafted.
Gone so soon
Two days after claiming fullback Toben Opurum off waivers from New Orleans, the Broncos waived the fourth-year player with a failed-physical designation. His departure leaves the Broncos with 89 players on their roster; teams can have a maximum of 90 in the offseason.
