Cable TV provider Comcast on Tuesday said it will open a new customer support center in Fort Collins and plans to hire 600 employees.
The company will offer more details on Thursday as part of a press conference with officials from the state of Colorado and the city of Fort Collins.
The facility will be on the site of the former Hewlett-Packard campus on Harmony Road, Comcast spokeswoman Leslie Oliver confirmed.

Comcast has a large presence in Colorado and the Philadelphia firm has been moving more operations to the state from other areas. In 2012, the company said it would add 400 call-center jobs in Denver and Colorado Springs — after California.
