COLORADO SPRINGS — A 30-year veteran of the Colorado Springs Fire Department was found dead Tuesday after he was first reported missing Monday night.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after the body of Daryl Ritz, 58, was found Tuesday on a property off Judge Orr Road.
Deputies initially reported the death as suspicious, but upgraded it to a homicide after investigating, Kirby said. Details about the death have not been released.
