SANTA ROSA, Calif. (AP) — A Colorado man has been sentenced to life in prison for the slayings of three men during a botched marijuana deal in Sonoma County.

The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports (http://bit.ly/1XmLjVy ) that 49-year-old Mark Cappello, of Central City, Colo., was sentenced Wednesday in Sonoma County court to 100 years to life in prison for killing 24-year-old Raleigh Butler, 46-year-old Richard Lewin of Huntington, N.Y., and 43-year-old Todd Klarkowski of Boulder, Colo. Jurors found Cappello guilty in March.

Authorities say the three men had arranged to buy a large amount of marijuana from Cappello when he killed them execution style in 2013.
