Warm temperatures are expected under sunny skies during most of the day Thursday with a small chance for rain and thunder at night.

The high could reach 73 degrees with light winds from the south, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. it will get cloudy and there is a 20 percent chance for rain and thunderstorms.

It gets even warmer on Friday, with a high of about 80 degrees. There is a 10 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Wind gusts could reach 22 mph.

It will remain breezy and warm on Saturday, with a high temperature of 81 degrees and wind gusts reaching 26 mph.

High temperatures will then drop into the 70s and 60s for the following several days.

There is a chance for afternoon rain and thunderstorms Sunday through Wednesday, according to the NWS.

The high is expected to be 74 on Sunday, 68 on Monday and Tuesday and 69 on Wednesday.
