A pedestrian suffered serious injury Friday night in a hit-and-run traffic incident in Denver, police said.
The hit-and-run incident happened near the intersection of South Sheridan Boulevard and West Jewell Avenue, according to a 10:39 p.m. Denver Police Department Twitter post.
The victim was taken to a local hospital.
Several traffic lanes have been shut down by the incident.
A description of the suspect vehicle was not immediately released.
Further details on the victim’s injuries were not released.
