Denver Mart Drive In opens this weekend and yes, there’s beer

This year, beer and wine will be sold inside the Plaza building next to the lot for the drive-in.

The is so popular that it’s returning this year, starting 7 p.m. Friday and running through Labor Day weekend.

The first shows are and two movies for $10. Just like the 1960s — two double features with a 10-minute intermission in between. (Kids age 6 and under are free.)

This year, beer and wine will be sold inside the Plaza building next to the lot for the drive-in. Warning: you can’t take adult beverages into the drive-in.

The hot dinner menu includes chicken fingers, hot dogs and nachos. Snacks range from pickles and popcorn to cotton candy.

The drive-in is located in the at 451 E. 58th Ave. in southwest Adams County. Movies are shown Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer.
