Ellwood Associates, a Chicago-based investment consulting firm, announced Friday that it completed its acquisition of Greenwood Village-based Watershed Investment Consultants.
Financial terms of the agreement between the two privately held and employee-owned firms were not disclosed. Watershed’s operations will remain based in Greenwood Village, officials said.
The deal, which is Ellwood’s first in its 39-year history, gives the firm a presence in Colorado and expands its public pension expertise, officials for Ellwood said in a news release.
As a result of the acquisition, Ellwood will have $56 billion in assets under advisement.
