Colorado Springs police have arrested a suspect in a Wednesday afternoon shooting at a Walgreen’s parking lot that left a man wounded.
Alfred Watson, 34, is suspected of second-degree assault, authorities announced Thursday. Records show he is being held at the El Paso County jail on $10,000 bail.
The shooting happened about 4 p.m. at the Walgreen’s on the 4300 block of East Platte Avenue in east Colorado Springs. Officers called to the scene found a 51-year-old man inside the store with a wound that was not life-threatening.
Investigators say “critical witness information” led to Watson’s arrest.
