With just one song under his belt (albeit ), it remains to be seen if Brooklyn rapper is the real deal.

One thing’s for sure, though: His lyrics aren’t.

In fact, it turns out the very first line of his very first wide-release song, “Panda,” which makes the minor boast “I got broads in Atlanta,” is a pretty huge exaggeration.

“I’ve never been to Atlanta,” the the 19-year-old rapper admits in an interview published on Billboard on Thursday. In classic teenage style, the line is an exaggeration stemming from an encounter on Facebook. Via :

“We never met in person,” he says. “She just said she was from ATL, so I was like, ‘All right — I got broads in Atlanta.’ It’s real life, you feel me? I put real-life shit in my songs.”

That’s a pretty sly about-face at the end there, but it ain’t fooling us. Unless you change that line to “I met on a girl on Facebook who’s from Atlanta who I’ve never met in real life but I bet would totally be into me if we HAD met, you feel me,” we’ve gotta call B.S.
