
Man salts, oils engine block. Police were called to a woman’s home in the 1300 block of West 84th Avenue, Federal Heights because her boyfriend vandalized her car when she wouldn’t let him drive it drunk May 11. The suspect poured vegetable oil and salt all over the engine and then ran off.
Brawl the at the park. Northglenn police arrested a person at E.B. Rain Park, 11700 Community Center Drive, on June 5 because they got into an screaming match with a group of people who rented a pavilion there for a graduation party. The suspect wanted to use the rented pavilion.
Attempted burglary. A woman who lives in the 10500 block of Gilpin Street, Northglenn, heard a noise in her unlocked garage June 13. When she went out to check, a man wearing a hoodie ran out of the garage and took off through her backyard. There are no suspects.
Unwanted gas attendant. A man was arrested May 15 at Western Convenience, 2301 E. 88th Ave., Thornton, for trying to pump people’s gas, refusing to leave and generally harassing customers.
Too many warnings. Federal Heights police were dispatched to a party in the 2700 block of West 103rd Avenue several times May 13 because the people there were being too loud. The leaseholder was ticketed and officers removed a drunken woman from the property.
Makeup bag. Loss prevention at the King Soopers, 1575 W. 84th Ave., Federal Heights, detained a woman who they caught trying to steal almost $100 worth of makeup by stuffing it in her purse May 16. She was booked.
