Denver police release sketch of man suspected in 3 attempted sex assaults

Two of the attempted sex assaults happened in and around downtown Denver

Denver police on Wednesday released a composite sketch of a man suspected in three attempted sex assaults since June 1.

Investigators say the assaults happened in the following order:

  • About 8 p.m. on June 1 in the 700 block of Ash Street
  • About 3 p.m. on July 2 in the 1400 block of Lafayette Street
  • About 8 p.m. on July 5 in the 1800 block of Glenarm Place
In each case, police say the victim was grabbed from behind, thrown to the ground and assaulted. The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s with a medium build and short, platinum hair. He is about 5-foot-10.

“There are similar suspect descriptions in each of the cases,” police said

Anyone with information on the cases is asked to call police at 720-913-7867. Tipsters are eligible for a reward up to $2,000.
