Fort Collins police investigate when cyclist dies after hitting parked truck

The 56-year-old was found unresponsive at the rear of a parked truck

A 56-year-old man was found unresponsive Saturday morning in Fort Collins after he apparently collided with the back of a parked truck. He was later pronounced dead, Fort Collins police said in a news release.

The bicyclist was found in the 3600 block of Seneca Street and was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies with serious injuries where he later died. His name and cause of death have not been released.

The cause of the collision is under investigation by Fort Collins police.
