Westminster police identified a 30-year-old suspect in as he sat in his car in a KFC parking lot.
Thomas Flynn is suspected of attempted first degree murder for shooting the unidentified victim in the head at the Kentucky Fried Chicken at 92nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard at about 6:50 p.m.
The suspect fled in a white, four-door, Cadillac DeVille sedan with Colorado license plate LIE893, police said Sunday.
The victim, whom police haven’t identified, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Police haven’t updated his condition.
Flynn’s criminal record includes arrests for assault, reckless endangerment, and trespassing, according to Colorado Bureau of Investigation records.
He is 5-foot-10, 210 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.
