Boulder’s Cameron Dye wins New York City Triathlon

Cameron Dye, a man out of Boulder, won the New York City Triathlon Sunday, which hosted more than 3,500 athletes. Dye finished first in the men’s professional division.

The triathlon featured a 1,500 swim in the Hudson River, a 40-kilometer bike ride along Henry Hudson Parkway and a 10-kilometer run through Central Park. Dye ,32, finished with a time of 1 hour, 48 minutes and 31 seconds.

Colorado Springs’ Erin Jones, 25, finished third in the women’s professional division with a time of 2 hours, 5 minutes and 35 seconds.
