Denver police are asking for assistance identifying the male who was found dead on the side of the road in the Montbello neighborhood.

According to police, at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday, police received a call about a person who was found dead on the side of the road at East Andrews Drive and Elgin Place in the Montbello neighborhood. 

Officers and paramedics arrived on scene and located the body. Arson investigators were on the scene, reported.

Police previously tweeted that a death investigation was underway.

Police are now asking anyone with information on the identity of the deceased or information about the death to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
