Furniture Row Racing is expected to announce Erik Jones as the driver of the team’s second car, .

Owner Barney Visser in June said the  if it had enough sponsors.

Furniture Row Racing’s general manager Joe Garone told Fox Sports that the addition of Bass Pro Shops as a sponsor opened the door for other sponsors to join.

Driver that will keep him behind the wheel at FRR through the 2018 season. , the fourth time he has done so in his career. It was the third time in the last four years FRR has qualified.

Jones is an up-and-comer who last year . As a rookie this year he’s  while driving the No. 20 car for Joe Gibbs Racing.
