The Eslans also own the La Quinta Inn & Suites in west Loveland.LOVELAND — The slowdown in oil and gas drilling in Weld County has sent out ripple effects in the region, but the owners of two new Loveland-area hotels say Northern Colorado has so much going for it that the dip isn’t affecting their plans.
A new Wingate by Wyndham Hotel built by Loveland investors opened last month in Johnstown’s 2534 development, and a My Place extended-stay hotel will open this week Crossroads Boulevard in east Loveland. Several other new hotels are under construction or recently announced in the region.
The owners of both Loveland-area hotels say they didn’t count on business from oil and gas when they decided to go ahead with their plans.
