The owners of Mud Facial Bar in downtown Boulder believe that a window advertisement for their breast-milk facials was the target of vandalism earlier this month by people who objected to the unique treatment.

The Mud Facial Bar used to have a poster in the window of its 2098 Broadway location advertising that read, “Introducing breast milk facial” next to a picture of a woman.

Mud Facial Bar’s Chicago branch has featured breast-milk facials as part of its standard menu for quite some time, but the Boulder branch only recently added the treatment.

Stachovic said most of the feedback in person has been positive. But she has seen some people objecting to the facials, particularly on the Internet.
