
Block brawl. Residents in the 9000 block of Mandel Street, Federal Heights, shot off fireworks June 27 and that made their neighbors angry. The households got into a fight in the street that resulted in one man damaging his neighbor’s fence, and a woman being dragged by her hair through the street. Everyone was cited for disorderly conduct.
Water thieves. A man heard someone turn on his garden hose in the middle of the night June 26in the 2000 block of West 90th Avenue, Federal Heights. The water was running when he came outside, but no one was in the yard. The victim suspected the people living in his neighbor’s shed but had no proof.
No booze in the park. A patrolling Commerce City police officer caught a man drinking beer at Fairfax Park, 6895 Fairfax Driveon July 30 and ticketed him.
Dog bites passerby. A man called police from St. Anthony North Hospital, 14300 Orchard Parkway, Thornton, to report that his neighbor’s dog bit him July 5. The man asked to pet the dog and was bit after he turned to leave. The dog was placed on quarantine.
Underage drinking.On July 28, Northglenn police were called to a disturbance in the 11600 block of Gilpin Street where they met an intoxicated 20-year-old who began to argue with officers in the street. The suspect was arrested.
False reporting. A girl told police that someone threatened her while she was working July 30 at McDonald’s,10400 Belle Creek Blvd., Commerce City. Officers watched security footage and found no evidence of the situation.
