A passenger on a motorcycle died Wednesday in a single-vehicle highway crash.
The driver of the motorcycle was towing a trailer when the crash happened in westbound lanes of the interchange between I-76 and Colorado 224, said Nate Reid, a State Patrol spokesman.
The State Patrol was notified of the crash at 3:15 p.m., Reid said.
The motorcycle struck a concrete barrier. The driver, a man, had “moderate” injuries, according to the State Patrol. His passenger, a woman, was taken to a hospital, where she died.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
