Motorist threatens couple with knife. A couple were driving on southbound Santa Fe Drive on Aug. 11 when they were cut off by another driver in a silver Jeep Liberty. The couple blared their horn at the man. They then pulled up next to his car at the intersection of Santa Fe and Meadows Parkway in Castle Rock. The other driver then raised a curved knife and said,  “I’m going to slit your throats.” The couple drove home before calling police to report the incident.

Running red leads to jail. A driver was pulled over for running a red light in the 10900 block of South Parker Road, Parker, at 12:21 a.m. on Aug. 1. The unidentified motorist was arrested after it was found they were violating term of a restraining order barring them from consuming alcohol.

Scary tampering. A person living in the 12700 block of Henson Creek Street, Parker, discovered on Aug. 3 that the lug nuts on their car had been loosened.

DUI driver transporting infant. An unidentified driver was pulled over for careless driving in the 16800 block of Lincoln Avenue, Parker, on Aug. 16 and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was also transporting an infant who was not secured in a car seat. The driver was arrested.

No suspect in break in case. The resident of a home in the 19700 Applewood Court, Parker, discovered that someone had damaged their door and entered their house on Aug. 18. The investigation has been deactivated for a lack of suspect information.
