Nolan Arenado gave Rockies pitcher German Marquez a nice cushion for his debut, cranking a grand slam in the second inning Wednesday against St. Louis starter Luke Weaver at Coors Field.
The four-run shot gave Colorado a 6-1 lead.

For the Rockies third baseman, it was his National League-leading 39th home run and 128th RBI. Arenado led the NL in both categories in 2015, as well.
