Vista PEAK hosts Thomas Jefferson in primetime 3A football showdown

The Bison control their own destiny in the conference, while the Spartans look to put themselves back into league title contention

Thomas Jefferson (6-2, 2-1) plays on the road at Vista PEAK Prep (6-3, 3-0) on Friday night in a big East Metro Conference showdown for both teams.

The Spartans are led by first-year coach Derrick Martin and senior quarterback Dane Washington, while John Sullivan’s Bison have been paced by junior quarterback Derrick Smashum’s 2,396 yards and 35 TDs through the air.
