“Frozen” is coming to life on the Denver stage in 2017

Single tickets will go on sale to the public this spring for Aug. 17-Oct. 1 pre-Broadway engagement

Elsa, Anna, Olaf & Co. are coming to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts next year.

A pre-Broadway engagement of the new musical based on the Academy Award-winning Disney movie “Frozen” will play The Buell Theatre Aug. 17-Oct. 1, the performing arts center announced Monday.

Single tickets will go on sale to the public this spring. Large group sales will begin in February and Broadway-series subscribers can purchase additional tickets starting at 10 a.m. Dec. 12. To sign up for ticketing alerts, go to .

A full-length stage work with new songs and story material, “Frozen” the musical will feature music and lyrics from the creators of the movie’s score, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The book is by the movie’s screenwriter and co-director, Jennifer Lee.

“Frozen” is slated to make its Broadway debut in spring 2018 at the St. James Theatre. The movie won the 2014 Oscars for Best Song and Best Animated Feature.
