Douglas County Crime Blotter: More than $4,000 in toilets, plumbing fixtures stolen from job site

Even the bathroom sink. A man who owns a home currently under construction in the 5700 block of Majestic Oaks Way, Parker, reported someone burglarized the property Nov. 17. A plumberinformed him items were missing at 7 a.m. that day. Things taken included four toilets, 13 faucets, two sinks and a garbage disposal, all still in their original packaging. Total loss was estimated at $4,114. There are no suspects.

School creep. A 32-year-old man was issued a summons Nov. 11 for indecent exposure. The incident allegedly occurred at Sand Creek Elementary School, 8898 S. Maplewood Drive, Highlands Ranch. Further information was not available.

Laptop sprouts legs. A man working to build the Lofts at Lincoln Station Apartments, 9375 Station Street, Lone Tree, reported his Surface Pro laptop computer was stolen Nov. 8. He said the laptop was sitting in a makeshift office in a common area of the building. He sent an e-mail at 1:15 p.m., went outside briefly, and when he came back at 1:45 p.m. the $1,000 machine was gone. A key fob was required to enter the building.

Not paint.On Nov. 17, an officer responded to a call about a suspicious incident and found blood on the ground in the 8400 block of Park Meadows Drive, Lone Tree. It was determined the blood was from a medical incident and nothing criminal had occurred.

Late night detox stop. An officer watched a driver run a red light in the intersection of Park Meadows Drive and South Yosemite Street in Lone Tree, just after 2:30 a.m. Nov. 19. After making the traffic stop, the officer determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and taken to detox.
