Getting your player ready...

Von Miller was credited for a sack and forced fumble for his play late in the fourth quarter at Jacksonville when he shoved tackle Kelvin Beachum into quarterback Blake Bortles to force a turnover. The sack extends Miller’s league-lead to 13.5.

Fellow outside linebacker Shane Ray recovered the fumble to seal Denver’s victory.

Miller now has 73.5 sacks in his career, tying Rulon Jones for fourth-most in Broncos history. He also has 18 forced fumbles, tying Ryan Kerrigan and Robert Quinn for the third-most in the NFL since 2011.

Lighter practices. Coach Gary Kubiak altered his team’s practice schedule, turning Wednesday into separate walkthroughs for each positional group. Kubiak said after the team’s win in Jacksonville that fatigue is an issue this late in the season.

Kubiak altered the team’s practice schedule last year too, in an effort to preserve the team’s health in December.

“It all depends on what’s going on with your team, really, more than anything,” he said. “Last year we changed our routine late in the season. I remember doing it late and during the playoffs. Just me watching them, we need a bunch of reps, so to go get a bunch of reps today and be able to still take something off their legs and make it more of a walkthrough type of thing helps them out.
