A worker died Thursday in an industrial accident at the Moffat County landfill near Craig.
The man, who was a Moffat County employee, died at the scene, according to a Moffat County Sheriff’s Office media release.
The fatal accident happened at about 5:30 a.m., and multiple emergency responders rushed to the scene.
“There does not appear to be any suspicious or criminal circumstances surrounding the death,” the sheriff’s office said.
