He took it out. On Sept. 4, 2016, Lakewood police responded to call claiming a man had exposed himself to a woman who was selling things. The woman claimed the man was outside washing his truck in the 1100 block of South Harlan Street when she engaged him about her company. She had turned to leave when the man asked her to come back. When she turned around, the man was exposing himself. She ran to another house where she called police. The man was located, but did not admit to the crime.

Woman bitten while breaking up dog fight. police responded to an emergency room report regarding a dog bite Jan. 25 in the 6600 block of West Iowa Avenue. The woman who was bitten told police that she was at home and one of her dogs was playing with a bone. When the other saw it, they began to fight. In an effort to get between them, she was bitten in the leg. The dogs were required to be quarantined.

Stolen vehicle located. On Jan. 27, a police officer located a stolen car in the 400 block of Wadsworth Boulevard. When the officer parked, the car sped away. A short while later, the car crashed and some of the occupants fled. They were later caught and one of the suspects had a counterfeit $20 bill.

Threats made a plasma center. Police responded to a disturbance Jan, 9 at Grifols Biomat, a plasma donation center at 8800 W. Colfax Ave., where a woman reportedly threatened an employee. The employee told police that she noticed IV marks and suspected the woman was a drug user. A verbal dispute broke out and the employee claimed the woman made threats. The woman and witnesses claimed the employee also said things, but the employee denied this.
