The suspect was seen stealing a car in Denver on Feb. 1, 2017.Photographs of a man who police say stole a vehicle and slammed a police car as he fled officers were released Thursday.
The incident happened Feb. 1 in the 4900 block of Federal Boulevard. A black 2012 Mercedes GLK350 was stopped by officers, according to the Denver Police Department. When officers tried to contact the driver, he accelerated out of the lot, hitting an unmarked police car.
The driver in the stolen Mercedes, with Colorado license plate XQK354, fled north on Federal.
