It’s a night at the circus, without the elephant smell.
The producers behind “The Illusionists” have teamed up the puppeteers from “War Horse” to bring the family-friendly “Circus 1903 — The Golden Age of Circus” to the stage of the Buell Theatre. Giant puppets will bring elephants to life in the ring along with a cast of circus acts from around the world. Strongmen? Check. Contortionists? Got those, too. High wires? Come on, of course!
Feb. 21 will be Family Night on Broadway, which means kids are free with an adult and can also fuel up for free at the Hard Rock Cafe beforehand. Tickets are $15 to $65. Buell Theatre, 1350 Curtis St., Denver. or 800-641-1222.
