Fort Collins police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that killed one of the drivers when both vehicles entered the intersection and one turned in front of the other

Police say Zachary Marshall, 32, of Ault, was driving a GMC pickup eastbound on Mulberry Street about 3:25 p.m. at the southeast frontage road when the truck collided with a westbound Honda Accord that was attempting to make a left turn onto the frontage road.

As the traffic light changed, both vehicles entered the intersection and the pickup struck the side of the Honda.

Marshall was treated for minor injuries at the scene and was released. The Honda driver was taken to Medical Center of the Rockies, and later died, police said. That driver was not identified.
