Getting your player ready...
Every day, I look out my kitchen window and see the house across the street being remodeled. The workmen are laying bricks, carrying loads, which must be over 50 pounds, by hand. They begin as the sun rises and leave when it is too dark to see. They never seem to rest and have been working all winter outside. They are always cheerful and nod to me when I go out. They are the salt of the earth, the foundation of skilled laborers that our country depends upon. And they all speak Spanish.
