A Gazette newspaper deliveryman found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the street at little before 5:30 a.m. Saturday in Colorado Springs.
The man, who was found in the 2200 block of Farnsworth Drive, was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries, Colorado Springs Police Department spokesman Lt. Howard Black said.
Police have detained a person of interest. Neither the names of the victim nor the person of interest have been released.
