Highways in Denver and Eagle County have been reopened Friday morning following crashes that triggered lane closures, according to state officials.
Northbound Interstate 25 was reopened around 8 a.m. All northbound lanes of the highway were closed around 7 a.m. following an accident near 128th Avenue, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The right lane of eastbound Interstate 70 was also reopened around 8 a.m. following a crash near Silverthorne, according to a CDOT tweet.
Trooper Josh Lewis said a single vehicle had rolled into the median around 7 a.m. Although the vehicle was not blocking traffic, rescue workers closed the right lane for emergency response purposes, Lewis said.
