GRANBY  — The Colorado board that is overseeing an investigation into the death of a woman who fell off a ski lift has sent the matter to state officials for further review.

The the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board has sent the case up to the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies Office of Investigation after discussing the woman’s death in closed session Wednesday.

Forty-year-old Kelly Huber and her two daughters on Dec. 29, 2016. All three had been taken to hospitals.

The board had tabled all items related to the investigation after coming out of closed session.

Following the incident, Investigators had said “a rare dynamic event occurred on the lift.”
