A Denver police officer after responding to a felony menacing report involving an armed suspect, according to Chris Amsler, Aurora police spokesman.
The wounded suspect was taken to a hospital, Amsler said.
No officers were injured. The suspect’s condition was not known.
Aurora police are investigating the incident, which happened about 12:30 p.m., and Denver police are assisting.
