A multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 25 north of downtown Colorado Springs on Tuesday afternoon injured four people, shut down the northbound lanes of the highway for hours and reduced the southbound traffic to a single lane.
Detours were set up and drivers were urged to avoid the area if possible, according to Colorado Springs Police Department spokesman Lt. Howard Black.
