Your otherwise uplifting story about cyclist Jillian Bearden was marred somewhat by the use of unexplained jargon. For example, what is a “peloton” or a “criterium race”? Does a “lactate threshold” involve the production of milk? How does one produce “wattage” on a personal basis?

I am glad that you covered the story. I just wish that I could understand it better.
