The University of Colorado will open its Pac-12 schedule in prime time on national television in a rematch of last season’s conference championship game, it was announced Monday.
CU (2-0) will host Washington (2-0) at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at Folsom Field on Fox Sports 1. In last season’s Pac-12 championship game, the Huskies beat CU 41-10 and landed a spot in the College Football Playoff.
A CU spokesman confirmed the possibility still remains that ESPN’s College Game Day selects Boulder as its destination in Week 4. Other matchups that might land the network’s on-campus pregame show: TCU at Oklahoma State, Penn State at Iowa, USC at California and UCLA at Stanford.
