The Rams are taking a bold step in honoring their state heritage this football season.
Colorado State unveiled a new alternate uniform Thursday with a 55-second video released on its ).
When the Rams host Boise State on Nov. 11, CSU will be suited in white from head to toe, and in place of the traditional logo and spiral horns, the alternative uniforms feature the iconic red-and-yellow Colorado state flag’s “C” on helmets, shoulder pad sleeves, and on the left hip of pants. Blue stripes run along the center of the helmet and down the side of each pant leg, jersey numbers are blue with red trim, and “Colorado State” is spelled out in blue above the front chest number.

The uniforms were designed as part of CSU’s partnership with Under Armour, now in its fifth year, which also produced orange Ag Day and gray alternative jerseys. This will mark the first time in program history the Rams will wear white helmets.
“Our partnership with Under Armour provides for specialty uniforms and the UA design team does a tremendous job driving the creative process,” CSU athletic director Joe Parker said. “The use of our iconic state flag as the base element for this uniform speaks to the pride across Colorado for the University and also our mission as a land grant institution.”
CSU (2-2) has a bye this week and will next travel to Hawaii (2-1) on Sept. 30 for a 10 p.m. kickoff.
Nearing a sellout. CSU has fulfilled its ticket allotment for seats at its on-campus football stadium in advance of the Rams’ Oct. 14 homecoming game against Nevada.
Standing-room-only tickets are still available for purchase. The stadium features 36,500 seats but has a listed capacity of 41,000.
CSU drew 37,583 fans against Oregon State and 27,038 against Abilene Christian in its previous home games this fall.
