The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department has released the identity of a woman whose  on the side of Interstate 25, officials say.

The body of Shelby Weatherly, 24, was discovered near the Greenland exit south of Larkspur, according to a news release by Lauren LeKander, sheriff’s spokeswoman.

The cause and manner of Weatherly’s death are still under investigation.

The Douglas County Coroner鈥檚 Office is following several tips and is asking anyone who may have seen any vehicles parked near the Greenland exit Friday night or early Saturday morning to call the sheriff’s office.
