One person died and a second was injured in a two-vehicle crash at U.S. 287 and Arapahoe Road in Boulder County on Wednesday morning.
A 24-year-old man died in the crash at 5:30 a.m. and a 46-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, Colorado State Patrol Trooper Josh Lewis said.
So far few details are available, though Lewis said the accident involved a 2012 Honda and a 2017 Mitsubishi.
It is not clear if drugs or alcohol were involved. The accident is under investigation.
U.S. 287 was down to one lane and Arapahoe Road was closed as crews investigate.
