The Denver Post has sunk to an intolerable low with its political cartoon about Melania Trump. It’s bad enough to belittle the first lady’s cause (i.e. bullying, which has nothing whatsoever to do with her husband’s policies), but it is utterly stunning that you would deliberately make fun of her accent.聽This from a paper that claims to be pro-immigrant. No amount of “We are sorry if we offended anyone” can undo your appalling disrespect for聽Melania Trump聽and for聽all immigrants in this country who happen to speak English with an accent you find acceptable to mock.
